45-minute horseback ride in the Atlas Mountains
Set off to conquer the highest mountains in North Africa. Admire the high plateaus of Morocco on horseback. Ride off the beaten track, through sloping forests and into the wild countryside. After an early morning pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech, you will set off on an approximately 1-hour drive into the High Atlas Mountains, heading for the mountain town of Tahnaout. Upon arrival, you will be paired with a horse and given all the equipment you need to set off on the beautiful mountain trails.
Your guide will lead you through imposing juniper forests, across the foothills of the mountain range, to picturesque viewpoints over the Asni Valley and the sprawling plains of Al Haouz. Continue to Rha Moulay Brahim, where you will drop off your horse. Continue by car to Imlil for a sumptuous local lunch with views of the highest peaks of the High Atlas. After lunch, you will descend the mountain to your accommodation in Marrakech.
